Our Annual IGLI Summer Institute

About the Institute

The IGLI Summer Institute is our flagship program. Each year, we bring 15 women-identified and gender non-conforming activists to Colorado for a week of connecting, learning, and building solidarity. Our goal for the week is to connect activists from across the globe to each other and to world-leading experts on how to wage effective movements for social change. Our facilitators are alumni, academics, policy-makers, and leading thinkers.

Who attends the Summer Institute?

Any woman-identified or gender non-conforming activist is eligible to apply for a spot at the annual IGLI Summer Institute. We look to include people who are actively involved in frontline social movements, and who have experience thinking about how to transform oppressive systems from the bottom up, using creative and bold methodologies.
